A cursory glance around you while in South Africa will tell you that this is a nation forged like no other. The mixture of people and races, the variety of architectural styles, the languages spoken, the marked differences from its neighbour states and the cultural tapestry all help to display the path that modern day South Africa has come along to arrive where it is now.

South Africa has some of the most important archaeological sites in the world. Ancient cave paintings and anthropological sites show that this part of the world was one of the first places man came to be up to three million years ago! Not for nothing are these sites called ‘the cradle of civilisation’
